How to Download and Install Total Adblock

To install Total Adblock on your chrome browser, follow these instructions:

Visit Chrome Web Store

Go to the Total Adblock's Chrome Web Store Page

Add the Total Adblock Extension

  • Click Add To Chrome
  • Click Add Extension


    • You will receive a notification that Total Adblock has been added to chrome.

    Set Up

    Once Total Adblock has been added to chrome, a new tab will open. Here we will guide you on how to set up Total Adblock.

    To install Total Adblock on your Edge browser, follow these instructions:

    Visit Edge Store

    Go to the Edge Add-Ons Store

    Add the Total Adblock Extension

  • Click Get
  • Click Add Extension



    • The Total Adblock extension will now be added to the toolbar.

    Set Up

    Once Total Adblock has been added to Edge, a new tab will open. Here we will guide you on how to set up Total Adblock.

    To install Total Adblock on iOS® follow these instructions:

    Download Total Adblock

  • Download Total Adblock from the App Store®
  • Tap Get

    • Enable Content Blockers

  • Open iOS® Settings
  • Locate and Tap Safari®
  • Tap Content Blockers
  • Switch on all Total Adblock Content blockers


    • When downloading Total Adblock on Android, you will most likely see warning messages.

    This happens because we provide Total Adblock on Android directly from our servers, as we are unable to put it on the Google Play Store.

    By providing it directly, we can ensure the best level of Adblocking available for Android.

    Setup Total Adblock on Android

    Alternatively, follow these steps to get your Android ad-free browsing experience!

    Download and Installation

  • On your Android device tap this link https://download.totaladblock.com
    • You may see a warning:
    'File might be harmful'

    The Android operating system shows this warning if applications are downloaded outside of the Google Play Store.
  • Tap OK or Download anyway to begin the download
  • Wait for the download to complete
  • Tap Open where it says 'File downloaded' at the top
    • You may see a warning:
    'For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source'

    As the file has been downloaded from your web browser you will need to allow your Android device to install files downloaded through the web browser.
  • Tap Settings on the pop up
  • Toggle on Enable From This Source
  • Tap the Back Arrow
  • Tap Install
  • Tap Open

    • Activating Total Adblock

  • Tap the Power button to toggle on Ad Blocking
  • Tap OK on the Connection Request prompt
    • By setting up a connection we change the way your connection works, a bit like a VPN does which allows us to filter the incoming adverts.
  • To enable full Adblocking, Tap ENABLE NOW
  • Tap Generate & Save
  • Enter your device Security PIN and tap NEXT
  • Tap OK to save the certificate name

    • You should now see that the Total Adblock certificate used for filtering has been installed and the application will confirm Ad blocking is on for all websites.

    To install Total Adblock on Android follow these instructions:

    Download Total Adblock Android

  • On your Android device Tap here
  • Tap OK
  • Tap Open


    • Install Total Adblock Android

  • Tap Settings on the pop up
  • Toggle on Enable From This Source
  • Click OK to confirm
  • Tap Install
  • Tap Open
