Optimization Tools for Mobile

Optimize tools are part of TotalAV for both Android and Apple iOS®. These tools allow you to easily find and remove unneeded photos, videos and contacts from your phone.

These tools can be found on main dashboard of the TotalAV application.

Photos

By using the Photo Scanner TotalAV you can manage your photos on your phone.

  • The select tool will select or deselect all the photos on the list
  • The Photo Scanner provides different lists of photos. You can view each list and remove what you need from each.
  • Tap to select or unselect any photos you want to remove - the Green Tick indicates the photo(s) are selected for deletion.
  • Tap the trash can icon will delete any selected photos.

    • Lists

  • Screenshots - Allows the easy removal of screenshots. These can often be taken by accident and can be removed easily.
  • Similar - Groups of pictures which are similar are grouped together allowing you to quickly delete pictures that are not needed.
  • Duplicates - Pictures which have a near exact duplicate are grouped together allowing you to quickly delete them.
  • Blurred - Allows the easy removal of blurred pictures.

    • Videos

    Using the Videos Scanner you can find similar videos.

  • Tap to select or unselect a video for removal - the Green Tick indicates the video(s) are selected for deletion.
  • Tap the trash icon to delete the video

    • Contacts

    The Contacts optimization allows you to merge duplicate contacts together. Once a scan is complete it will group duplicate contacts together.

    Opening a contact will allow you to merge contacts together.

  • Shows the details of the contact that will be saved
  • You can select or de-select which contacts will be merged
  • Once ready you can merge the contacts.
